The comment kept Matt busy as he drove toward the police station. What could that crazy old man have meant? Who could he possibly be? Matt wrecked his brain, trying to remember if he recognized the man’s name from something else, but nothing came to mind. Was he just bluffing? Was this one last ploy to frustrate Matt? Maybe he was reading too much into it. But that thought vanished as he entered the bureau.
