Grabbing one each
Kate’s fellow shelter volunteers couldn’t believe what they were hearing. Their eyes grew larger with every new fact Kate threw their way. It was the saddest story they had ever heard, and the end result of that story was now resting on their shelter floor. Afterward, the group of volunteers crouched down, and each one of them grabbed a single pup. They hugged them intensely, and everyone promised to help.
