After about an hour at sea, a young crew member asked, “How much farther?” Rick double-checked the coordinates. “We’re close,” he replied, eyes squinting at the horizon. The water looked calm, maybe too calm. Then, just past the stillness, Rick spotted something. It was barely visible, but definitely there—some kind of movement just before the edge of his vision.
