A larger fin
Just before the nets hit the water, Tom spotted something else. A larger fin sliced the surface near their boat. Mixed in with the bass, mackerel, and others was a shape that didn’t belong. This fin was longer, slower, and deliberate. Whatever it was, it moved with a purpose—and it was clearly much bigger than any fish around them.
