As Lucas walked further, he flickered his flashlight across the cabin wall. Something about the stillness made his skin crawl. Then he heard it—a faint tapping sound. Lucas froze. It came from somewhere deeper inside the plane. At first, he thought it was the wind, but it was too steady, too rhythmic. It sounded like fingernails against metal. “Hello? Who’s there?” he called out instinctively.
