Making assumptions

Lilly stood for a moment longer, pretending to fiddle with her phone. The Jeep didn’t move. The driver didn’t get out. Just sat there. Lilly turned and went back inside, pulling the curtain closed behind her. Maybe it was just nervous speculation, but Lilly somehow felt that this car was related to that man in the woods. She had no idea how right that assumption was.
