Swallowing everything
Abby blinked a few times, unsure if she was dreaming. She leaned closer to the window and focused on what had caught their attention. And then she saw it. In the center of the cul-de-sac, right outside her house, the ground had disappeared completely. A giant sinkhole had swallowed part of the road and even some front yards of surrounding homes.
