Liam Pushes Back
Liam stood up, pushing his chest out. “I’m not leaving. I’ve been fishing here for years. I found it. I helped it.” His voice appeared resolute, although inside it screamed confusion. “You can’t just push me out!” The agents didn’t respond. They moved closer, their body language sharp and practiced. “Sir,” the lead agent said, “you need to stand down. This isn’t a negotiation.”
