The logbook

At the bottom of the locker was a weathered logbook wrapped in plastic. Matt could see through the semi-transparent cover. The book read, “Field Notes, W. Tuson—Revised Entry.” Matt didn’t have time to read it now, and opening the plastic wrapping might ruin the pages. He chose to keep it dry and bring it back with him to the surface, a wise decision.
