They walked on. The ship groaned with age, but otherwise it was silent. Morgan paused at a junction, his beam cutting into two dark corridors. “Let’s take the right,” he decided, motioning forward. The others followed, stepping over broken crates and torn cables. The floor slanted ever so slightly—enough to make their balance feel off. It felt like the ship was tilting toward something.
