The man dropped the tool with a loud clang. It slid across the floor, hitting the wall. He stepped forward, breathing hard. “I didn’t know who you were,” he said, hands trembling. “I thought maybe… you were one of them.” Lewis moved in to flank the man. “Who are you?” he demanded. The man looked at Morgan. “I’ll explain. Just don’t shoot me, please.”
