The team set out just before 11 a.m. in a small marine vessel, skimming across calm waters, following the shoreline until they reached the beach where the ship lay. Ahead, the silhouette of the massive ship grew larger. Morgan stood at the bow, squinting at its corroded frame. “That thing has been floating for a while,” he muttered. “But how did it get here?
