The building’s sharp outline emerged from the murky distance like some long-forgotten temple, silent and waiting for Eli to explore its secrets. Eli didn’t hesitate this time. He swam straight to the front entrance, switched on his high-powered light, and aimed through the door opening. He also turned on his camera and pointed it forward. With everything on, he crossed the threshold and disappeared inside.
