Eli kicked forward with a surge of curiosity, brushing past a school of tiny jacks. The object grew larger, far larger than he initially estimated. It looked to be the size of a small building but sunken into the sand so deeply that only its upper portion was visible. What the hell? Was the only thought racing through Eli’s mind as he swam closer for inspection.
