Squinting her eyes
Sarah’s boots crunched softly against the damp sand as she ventured closer to speak with a few of the locals. Once there, she squinted her eyes and looked toward the foamy edge of the shore, where dozens of yellow balls bobbed and bumped with the incoming waves; others already lay motionless in the sand deeper onto the shore. “Alright, who can tell me more?” she asked onlookers.
