Before Kevin could react, the old man took off running, his feet surprisingly quick for someone his age. Kevin stood frozen, mouth open in shock as he watched the figure sprint past the bus stop and into the narrow alleyway nearby. For a split second, Kevin’s feet felt glued to the sidewalk, his mind trying to catch up with what had just happened.
